Celebrating the Festive Season with Our Riviera Community

Our annual client Christmas Party came to life at Darling Harbour as the first boats arrived at the marina. The R Marine Sydney team welcomed guests with warm greetings and guided them to their berths. Seventeen stunning Rivieras lined the wharf, creating an impressive display, while a few more were expected,  some owners couldn’t make it due to earlier challenging conditions.

As guests settled in, the atmosphere quickly became warm and festive. People mingled on the decks, enjoying cocktails while our crew served drinks from aboard our 51 Riviera Flybridge and delivered them to the owners. It was a relaxed way to ease into the evening.

Soon after, guests made their way from the marina to the Dockside Function Room. The venue, with its balcony overlooking the Riviera display, offered the perfect backdrop as live music played and canapés and champagne circulated among the 130 attendees.

Later in the evening, Riviera’s Owner and Chairman, Rodney Longhurst, Brand and Communications Director, Stephen Milne, and R Marine Sydney’s Dealer Principal, Mike Joyce, took the stage to deliver welcoming speeches, setting a warm, celebratory tone. Following the speeches, guests enjoyed an energetic Lyra performance, a circus-style aerial act that added a dramatic flair to the evening, and live music featuring well-known favourites created a lively atmosphere, with many guests hitting the dance floor.

As night settled over Darling Harbour, fireworks lit up across the sky, their reflections illuminating the lineup of Riviera boats. The celebrations gradually wound down with many guests returning to their vessels to continue the festivities.
