On the way to the Whitsundays
Cruising from the Gold Coast to the Whitsunday’s, ( which will take around 3 days ) we highly recommend taking some time to explore the inside of Fraser Island (K’gari), Great Sandy Straight and Lady Musgrave Island. There are plenty of marinas on the way where you can rest and refuel. Here are a few of our recommendations : Hervey Bay Boat Club, Keppel Bay Marina and Hamilton Island Marina. These marinas provide excellent amenities and services for cruisers, ensuring that you have a comfortable and enjoyable journey.
Hervey Bay Boat Club
Urangan Harbour’s Hervey Boat Club Marina is a must-visit destination for anyone exploring the Great Sandy Straits and K’gari (Fraser Island). The marina boasts a picturesque view of the sea, and the Boat Club’s Coffee Shop and Sinbad’s Bistro offer the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal while enjoying the scenery.
